Behind the Art

In the 2nd grade, Bella attended a knitting camp hosted by her local yarn shop. It was there she first discovered her love of working with her hands. As her appreciation of crafting grew, so did her skill and her ability to create her own designs and patterns.

Bella studied traditional drawing and painting in high school and college, but was ultimately called back to handcrafted apparel and accessories. Thus, Dreamhouse was born.

"I love the concept of wearable art," she says. "To think that my art could not only be an expression of myself--but be worn by someone to express themselves--that is what drives me to create."
